Playground State is a game development and outsourcing collective founded by the Collins brothers.
The aim of the Playground State is to develop and publish games for the masses with as much care, craft, and artistry as we can muster. It’s kind of like we’re musicians composing things that are meaningful to us, but with a sound designed to keep us on the radio. Our primary objective is to make games that are really entertaining and visually arresting, but also just a little bit profound, and possibly experimental from time to time. We’d also like very much to be popular, but we’ll settle for being well thought of.
Members of this team have formerly run there own art contracting studios in the games industry, managing several contracts at a time, and employing up to 6 artists at one time, and have worked for clients such as Liquid Development, Streamline Studios, Streamline Productions, NC soft, Timegate Studios, Cryptic studios, Sony, Chi Systems, Corona Leonis Entertainment, Stormfront studios, Microsoft Unlimited Potential and Warner Brothers and more.
